For someone who doesn't have a lot of experience in the world of credit and borrowing, terms like "APR" and "interest rate" can be confusing, but it's fairly easy to figure out which type of account would be best simply be doing a credit card comparison that looks at the interest rates offered by various cards. Some credit cards will offer a low introductory interest rate that may increase as time goes by and other cards might offer a low interest rate that applies to transfer balances but it's likely that new purchases on that card would invoke a higher interest rate.
